Special Materials Company (SMC) was incorporated in Delaware in 1996. The company is a global marketer, producer and developer of specialty chemical products. The company has offices in Cherry Hill, NJ, New York City, Hanover, Germany, and Nanjing, China. Products are stocked in 14 Warehouses in North America and 3 warehouses in Europe. In addition SMC has controlling interest in two Chinese Joint Venture Manufacturing operations.
SMC creates value for its customers by bringing them lower cost raw materials produced in developing countries without the risks normally associated with these areas. This is done by careful “hands on” control of the product’s quality, using specific knowledge gained by SMC’s staff of specialists through years of industry experience, working closely with their suppliers, and by creating trust through honest business practices.
